mo and aidan go to Lake Three, 8-8-16, to 8-10-16

Father and son traveled efficiently with me in our large Seneca by we no nah.   we stopped on lake three and made camp.  we fished that evening with hopes for walleye but only caught a couple bass.  It was too windy for fishing late into the evening.  tuesday was spent paddleing to lake four.  the wind was terrible on the way back to three.  we made it tho.   that evening the wind died down and we fished  for walleye near camp and were rewarded with five of them.   That next morning we awoke to rain and because aidan had a stomache ache for about twenty four hours we decided to return to town so aidan could get some medicine.  the rain stopped as soon as we left.  it was a beautiful paddle out.

the wabakimi.....with mark, ross, and rich. 7-31-16 to 8-5-16

we departed the train at nine thirty pm sunday night and made camp in the dark.  we were surrounded by old cabins next to a lake.   we arose early the next morning and set off down the lake.  Three tough portages with rough landings later we were at our destination.  for three days we caught walleyes and enjoyed camp life.   on thursday we headed for the railroad tracks.  We arrived intime to eat supper and relax before going to bed to be ready for the 7am train.  Well, we were ready for the train early but ended up waiting three hours because it was late.   It had a long wait for passing freight trains.  It was a beautiful country and we only saw one group paddle through while we were in the wilderness.
